California Homes To Install Carbon Monoxide Alarms As Per New Law

Majority of California homes are required to install Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarms as per a new law. The Santa Barbara County Fire Department and safety specialists have recommended people to install CO alarms on each level of the house and particularly in sleeping areas.
California's new law intends to protect families. Second phase of the law requires existing dwellings with a fuel-burning apparatus or attached garage to install CO alarms. The final phase will require CO alarms installation in existing multi-family houses by January 2013.
Carbon monoxide poisoning is very harmful and its initial symptoms are headaches, nausea and dizziness. The Santa Barbara County Fire Department explains people that Carbon Monoxide poisoning is effortlessly avoidable with working CO alarms.
